New-Tracfone-Cell-Phone-Rates are Headed Down

Tracfone has suspended the refer-a-friend program which was costing them millions of minutes. I believe they are now going to have more deals on minutes. If you notice their bonus codes are giving away more minutes than they used to.

The New-Tracfone-Cell-Phone-Rates are much better.

Here is a comparison of old Tracfone cellular rates to new Track Phone Prepaid rates. These cheaper Tracfone Rates are now fully in effect.

$10 Tracfone Prepaid Card

New offering offering 30 Minutes and 45 days of service before 2/1/2007 the smallest card you could buy was $20.

$20 Tracfone Prepaid Card

40 minutes for $20, 50 cents per minute-- Now 60 minutes/60 days, 33 cents per minute. 2/1/2007 Now comes with 90 days of service

$30 Tracphone Cellular Card Rate

100 minutes for $30, 30 cents per minute-- Now 120 minutes/60days, 25 cents per minute. As of 2/1/2007 90 days of service.

$50 Track Phone Wireless Cell Card

200 minutes for $50, 25 cents per minute-- Now 250 minutes, 20 cents per minute. This card appears to be phased out

$80 Tracphone Cell Card Rate

400 minutes for $80, 20 cents per minute-- Now 400 minutes, 20 cents per minute. This card appears to be phased out.

One year Card

250 minutes 365 days of activation $99. Now 400 minutes and one year of activation.

Double minutes for the life of your Phone

$49.95 This is a new program. Non transferable to another phone. This is an upgrade to the old program where you could buy a doubler card that was good for 12 months. Now the doubler feature does not run out.

The New-Tracfone-Cell-Phone-Rates are now much better for the smaller Track Phone cards.

Tracfone wants you to keep your Phone

The new rates have a different motive for Tracfone. The $49.99 Minute doubler card that is good for the life of the phone. When installed on a phone it gives you an incentive to keep the phone because minutes will always be cheaper on this phone. If you live in an area where you cannot get Net10 the Tracfone with a doubler card is the best deal for a prepaid phone. If you live in and area where Net 10 works it is a better deal to buy a Net 10 phone. Net 10 is a division of Tracfone that only offers service on either T-Mobile or Cingular. Net10.com where minutes are ten cents per minute all the time.

The network activity time per card is not the same, Now you get up to 90 days of activation time for each of the cards instead of 60 days. Normally the activation time will not exceed 180 days even if you put 3 cards in at one time.

If you have any older cards that you have not used do not worry. When you use them you get the new minute count.

I just put in a six month old $30 card and got the 120 units plus I used one of the bonus codes and got an extra 60 minutes. Go to Tracfone Bonus Codes
